Computers make it easier to do a lot of things, but most of the things they make it easier to do don't need to be done. ~ Andy Rooney

As the title indicates, I took the photo of the guard at Godollo Palace, the royal residence in Budapest of empress Sissi, in 2019. The horse thanked me by bowing its head for not using the flash like other tourists.

This picture requires very little introduction because it is easily recognized. I call it Room with a view. The view is the rooftops of the ancient city of Florence and the room is in the Medici Palace and now Gallery. I hope you like it.

I must admit that carrying only a smartphone is very liberating in capturing daily family life, especially when said phone is water resistant. Here's my two granddaughters having fun on Coffs' North Wall beach last week, before the inevitable week of rain settled in. (Actually rain never settles in up here - it just never stops...)

I took this picture at a wine-tasting lunch recently. It is an entree made with a muse of mud crab, caviar and many other ingredients. I didn't eat it because I can't stand crab or caviar. I took the picture because I couldn't help but admire the chef's craftsmanship to create such a delight to the eyes and palate, for the guests. I remember thinking at the time "so much work and time to create this entree and eaten in less than a minute" - the taste has long gone from the mouths that ate it, but the image persists. I hope you like it ...

I took this picture of the Benedictine Abbey in Montserrat in December 2018. Montserrat, which means "serrated mountain" in Catalonian, is a mountain with many peaks that looks like a handsaw from the distance and it is just one hour rail travel from Barcelona. The Benedictine Abbey of Santa Maria de Montserrat is high up in the mountain and has a black statue of the Virgin of Montserrat, the Patron Saint of Catalonia. I hope you like it.

Hey guys!
What is the minimum length of a slider for interviews? I would like to make some company, small business interviews and I would like to add parallax motion effects. I would like to keep it portable, as well. Any suggestions?

Hey guys!

Is a short slider (8 Inches) 20cm long enough for interview B roll? I am debating between the short affordable Edelkrone SliderOne or the longer Slider Plus motorized sliders.

Please help! Thx!!!

I took the picture of this week almost two years ago in Vienna. Covid-19 put and end to scenes like this in cafes and public gatherings since last year and people all over the world resented not being able to gather together. Yet, it's ironic that most people are engaged in online communication rather than enjoying the presence of the people with them. I hope you like it.

I took this picture of the week at the Gallery Of Modern Art in Queensland a few years back in 2019. The closeup is in itself an abstract from an steel abstract sculpture. I was interested in the lines, contrast and the coolness of the sculpture, more than the sculpture in itself. I hope you like it.
