Great idea. Each time I put this lens on the camera, I am amazed at the sharpness, contrast etc etc.. serves me right for using a kit lens most of the time.

Cameron, we could steal this idea and use it in Sydney... Go head to head with the Adelaidians... Make it in to a competition so to speak.

Does serve you right for using kit glass....I think your suggestion is a good one...now I have to wait to my 50mm is returned...it is on loan to a mate for a few weeks.

A great idea Deb. Wish I could come too! Have a great time guys. Maybe we could have another one early next year??? You guys could come up to the Riverland for a weekend - Fozzie, Virgs and I will promise not to show you how to get to Gluepot.

Here we go with an idea:

1- Meet Adelaide Central Market at 1pm (Closes at 3pm). People, stalls, and plenty of good food and coffee etc

2- Next Stop - Cennteninal Park Cemetery. Grave stones and beautiful roses, plus good shade if it is a hot day.

3- Next Stop - Either Glenelg, Henley Beach or Semaphore. Can be decided on the day.

4- Next Stop - Port Adelaide. Heritage Buildings etc.

5- Final stop and most important. Flinders Park for wood oven Pizza at Deb's place.

Fitzgerald Bay, looking across the gulf to the Flinders at sunset is spectacular but Ive never managed to nail it. Lowly lighthouse and Santos jetty are another 2 good ones.
