Burlesque at Nexus (possibly NSFW)

Postby darklightphotography on Sat Apr 17, 2010 9:48 pm

Fozzie, Deb, Spesh and I all attended a burlesque show by Peaches 'N Gin at the Nexus Multicultural Arts Center last night. It was an awesome show, with some great photographic opportunities. And some extreme lighting challenges. Shooting all these shows with no flash allowed, I should be allowed a D3 I think :)

Thanks everyone for coming, it was a great night. For those who missed out, I think they are doing another show in June.

Kev, these look like they convey what a fun night it was going by the report Fozzie gave me today when we were doing the Farm Gate Art drive. Had a look at some of his and indeed some lovely photographic opportunities and I am sorry to have missed it but being away on holiday does that. Looking forward to the next show. Not sure you can argue for the D3 now as you have produced the results!! Should have made them dark or blurry and then you may have had a chance.

Kevin,

I would like to thank you and Avril for the invitation, to an entertaining evening. Very challenging lighting wise, and therefore your shoots are indeed excellent.

I will definitely be interested in the next show to improve my skills.
