With a trio of traditionally dressed Japanese ladies.

In those traditional Japanese colours, red, white and blue. :rotfl2:

Their stoicism in these images is notable; this appears to have been some sort of solemn ceremony?

Thank you for your interest. I walked into the Brisbane Mall late last year and found these Japanese ladies on a stage in kimono attire demonstrating traditional culture like dancing and tea ceremony. I think they are part of the local Japanese association. I found it interesting because we were going to go this March passed on a cruise around Japan, which sadly didn't happen because of our current coronavirus situation.

So, no Matt these lovely ladies do not live with me.

And I'll bet that you're happy that you didn't go on the cruise. :)

Yes, I am though I paid for the hotel and transfers in Tokyo and I think I lost the money. The intermediary agent that my travel agent used to make those bookings went broke at the beginning of this coronavirus crisis and the hotel refused to deal directly with me, the client. They said they would only deal with the booking company. But on the whole, we are happy we were in Australia when all the borders closed and airlines started cancelling flights. Scary stuff!
