The mother of this baby bonnet macaque got tired of his teasing his younger sibling and sent him some distance away, which gave me the opportunity to shoot this portrait.

That is a gorgeous portrait.

Wonderfully defocused background, while nicely set in what appears to be its natural environment.

Thank you Gary. The bonnet macaques' natural habitat is southern India and they are everywhere in the rural areas, and they are wild and free. We were coming down from a very steep rocky hill after visiting ancient caves and the macaques were watching the people without concern knowing humans fear them more than they fear humans. This fellow was only about 1.5 or 2 meters away from the mother on the same branch, but she kept an eye on him and another on the humans passing by and stopping to take photos.
