Poon is the man

Postby methd on Wed Jun 13, 2007 11:39 am

I got my 50mm 1.8 today and my third SB800 from Poon... so I'm really happy my flash setup is finally complete.

I also put in an order for a D200 + grip as a backup camera. Fingers crossed it arrives before the 30th, in time for my next wedding shoot !

Thanks Poon...

Like you can ever have enough stuff. I have 2 D2h's, now I'm trying to figure ways to change to 2x D2x's, with 2x Sb800's.

Oh lord, out of the depths I cry to thee......

I thought I'd add to this thread with an affirmation that Poon is, indeed The Man. I placed a lens order last Sunday, and even though there was a public holiday on Monday (in Australia) which would have slowed down my payment, the lens was delivered to me that same week on Thursday!

Is Poon somehow hacking into the banking system? Does Poon have a delivery mechanism that bends the rules of space and time? I'm not sure, but the bottom line is my purchase got here, and it got here insanely fast. Thanks Poon! :D

So one has to assume that there is a Billie Piper involved

Sort of. There's a "piper" involved of sorts. Poon plays the prime-lens-pipes and your money dances out of your wallets towards him.
