Yet another SEQ newbie

Postby Hilux99 on Mon Dec 19, 2005 2:57 pm

A few off the SEQ members on here already know me but let me introduce myself.

I’m Canon 300D owner and would love to learn more about photography and dslr. So I’m looking forward to learning more and meeting some more people along the way.

Michael

Hi Michael and welcome.
I see you're covered as far as a 4WD is concerned (another Toyota, woohoo) but we'll have to get you over to the Nikon camp soon!

See you on a track somewhere!

Did I accidently land on the overlander forum!!

Hi Michael :D Shane :D Oneputt :D Kevin :D

I saw Michaels intro and I thought I would pop in and say hi guys :D

For anyone I haven't met I am also a newbie on this forum, I am a keen photographer with a hubby who loves 4wding which gives me plenty of photgraphic opportunitys.

I am a Canon girl, I have gone from an EOS3 to a 10D about 18months ago and loving it.

...although with the 5D now available... 8)

anyway hello to everyone :D

Welcome J.
Canon users are certainly growing in stature here (no pun intended Dion!) so we look forward to seeing some images and posts from you.

I'm a little concerned that the Canon manuals may have to include a geography tutorial - the last time I checked, Coffs Harbour was in NSW, not SEQ, but I can see why you'd rather affiliate yourself with us! :)

(Perhaps Ozimax, a fellow Harbourite, can steer you in the right direction).

If you have Cannons, I have lasers!! PS my misspelling of Canon was intentional.

Hooroo another Coffsharbourite on the forum! We're taking over the place and we are fiercely NSW. (Sooner or later the Queenslanders will win something, anything, maybe.... 8) )

Welcome J, are you related to M from James Bond films? Or Q? Hopefully we'll get another minimeet for the Coffs Coast later this year, including an extended visit to Bluebottles in Woolgoolga.

Catch you later,
