APSCON in Toowoomba mid-October

That's APS as in the Australian Photographic Society. APSCON is the annual APS convention and is in Toowoomba this year.

Just wondering if there will be any members (D70 that is, not necessarily APS) in the Toowoomba area around the week 15th-22nd October.
I'll be driving up from the deep south, and rarely turn down a chance of a social meet.

Oh well, I'll be leaving Melbourne around the 12th (soon after the Melbourne mini meet as it happens) so if you think you might be in the area speak up soon.

I live just outside of toowoomba and attend toowoomba phoitographic society meets and the such.

But I don't think I'll be attending APSCON this time around. I need all the pennys i can save and scrounce to save up for a pro camera body of some description.

I don't think so either: the convention wound up last Friday night.

Next year's will be in the south at Mildura (October 21st-27th 2006), with outings to a bunch of places such as Mungo NP.
