realtime radar - http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR433.loop.shtml

as of 350pm Sun 20/11 it's looking spot on for a decent storm over Brissy

I'm stuck in the office but I hope to see some great shots from other users :D

it got to 20km away and split into two cells with the weak one barely coming over us and the fun one heading out over the west of the city to hopefully fill up the dams. typical.
and yeah we have some windows but they are so reflective and dirty that they are no good for shooting through.

Since you asked ( :) ), here are my crappy storm shots from this arvo. I was actually out taking pics of my parents house on the north side of town, but took a couple of pics of the clouds too.

Hopefully someone else got some more exciting shots than these!!! :D

Nice shots, the subtle colouring makes them interesting. Good capture.

Ask and ye shall receive eh Elfin? :)

I see Kinetic has answered the call for shots and done a pretty good job too. I like all three, particularly the first one.

Thanks :D

I love the turbulance of the third shot Kinetic :) The first shot is great for that thin stream of cloud shooting through the middle of the frame. I'll have to head over to weatherzone forums to check the name of that part of a storm.

Hopefully this year the BOM's recent long term forecast of many storms will pan out well and I will actually get to go chasing storms again. :)

cheers
