Lunar Eclipse meet ?

August 28th is a lunar eclipse around 7.45 pm to 9.30 pm for Brisbanites.

anyone want to meet up on the south side of bris somewhere?
any bright ideas on a place ?

Mount Cootha ... won't get near the place for people :roll:

Cleveland Point?

Maybe Southport Spit for beach, jetty and rock wall foregrounds?

Currumbin Beach at the rocks with the gold coast in the background should be nice?

Southside locations are too far for me but if anyone has any good ideas for locations on north or west side I would be interested. I guess all we need is flat open area :?:
