I would like to know what's it like?.
I am from the western sub melbourne Victoria,I've been looking at a scientist job in the pig industry. And was interested if the cost of living there was high? or home available to rent? am i getting myself into a sh1t hole?

Looks like a smallish country town to me
Size doesn't matter much though. It's the people you meet along the way, and I recon country folk are pretty interesting.
You have to look at the big picture though. Where could this scientists job take you eventually? It could be the start of an exciting career maybe?
Only 30 m ins to Toowoomba and 90 mins to Brisbane, so you are not too far away from a good night out.
I have no idea about rent. Why not telephone the Clifton Council and ask for info?
Good luck with your decision
Cheers

Lovely small country town. Very dry at present. Hell of a change from the big smoke. Should be great
