After the success of the last meet, i think it's time to get the ball rolling and figure out what we want to do next. Throw some ideas around and then we'll put it down to a poll unless everyone agrees... we'll then discuss date/time...
my thought.... lamington national park shoot .... arrive very early in the morning and shoot all day long... we can have a bbq for lunch and a couple of cold ones...
cheers

Lamington would be great but please remember that for myself and Dargan it would simply be too far for a day trip. Somewhere more central would be my preference, but again it will all depend on timing as I will be away in the Kimberley from 24th March for a couple of weeks.
I am also aware though that we have couple from Lismore.

I'll take any chance to go to Laminton... but that being said I don't mind traveling further north if we can get some good photo opportunity venues.
Other suggestions further north?

If we settle on Lamington I think I would make a weekend of it and stay on the Gold Coast.

Lamington sounds great to me, I have never been there so I am in for sure. If that doesn't work then anywhere else is fine by me.
Other suggestions are: Bunya Mts, Noosa National park & Kondallia Falls in the North, Tamborine National Park to the South or Brisbane Forest Park & Mt Nebo, close into Brisbane.
Looking forward to whever we go.
Regards
Steve

Now ..... back to lamington. if oneputt and Dargan want to make a weekend of it (as oneputt mentioned above) perhaps its a goer?
Sunday 3rd or Sat/Sun 16/17 in April look pretty good for me at the moment.

okay... how about we let the thread run for tonight so that we can get just that little bit more input... if we don't get anything against we'll set it as lamington and start a poll for dates?
cheers

Those dates in April look good and I am sure that I would stay on the GC so as it would be within easy reach.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun at the first meet
... Lamington sounds good to me and a date in mid to late April would also be good.
