Just had a look at the website. Fair bit going on, bit hard to tell what is what and how much.

Don't know if I should go, might spend money on something I don't really need.

Just remember Birddog's prices and that worry will simply evaporate. :)

This is free entry ........ aimed at the professional market but anyone can enter to spend their money. A good place to check out the latest gear then give birddog a call before you send him your wallet. My main interest will be a Spyder and printer profiler, and a much lighter tripoid down the track, but at least I will be able to touch and feel.

cheers
bp PS: I will be spending a bit of time at the L&P stand and the Kayell stand as they have what I need.

Don't worry guys, judging from last year's event at Sydney, they don't sell anything at the event - they're just showing it off and refer you to your local "dealer" for your fix.

Feed some CF cards through the 1Ds 2 and D2X and convince yourself which one has better resolution. I know magazine and online reviews have reported it, other users have also reported it, but until you see for yourself with images you personally took on both cams, you won't believe how the numbers can lie.
