Last Brisbane Meet

Postby Troppo on Tue Sep 20, 2005 8:51 am

Good to meet a few new members at the last meet, with a turn out of about 8 people, Thanks to Dargan who was kind enough to bring a projector and his arsenal of cd's, we managed to do some work on photoshop. Manta was again valuable in many areas including the CCD cleaning department and swears he can clean a CCD while waiting for the lights to turn green... and one of the most important persons at a CCD clean is Steve Griffin with his spoon sharpening skills.

At the next meet, i would like to propose a photo shoot and perhaps trying out a mixture of lenses and then discussing the shoot.

But thanks everyone for participating, this group is incredible, we had John Mark and Dion and Mike from the Sunshine coast and Tamara from Byron Bay travelling to meet with us.

The photo shoot sounds good. Maybe we can choose B/W or a theme and try to get the attendees output together for a follow up session to critique and process even if it is on the same day. I enjoyed the meet and thanks for the hospitality Jacque.

edit : Whoever took the photo I hope it included the empty Moet so we can tell Birddog that the bubbly was finally christened
