Hi, Queensland mob,

Has anyone had the D70 or similar repaired at Andersons cameras?

They are the Nikon repairer in Qld. Mine needs to go back for work before the warranty expires.

Or did you send it to a place in Melbourne or Sydney??

Thanks

MATT

MATT,
You better deal with local Authorized Nikon Service or repairer.

Hi Matt

Yes, I had mine at Anderson's to replace the top LCD screen under warranty.
It was a slow process, but that was caused by lack of availability of parts, which was Nikon/Maxwell rather than Anderson's.
They were actually quite helpful to deal with.

Thanks guys thats the feedback I was after.

Everything I buy dies at some time, I have learnt to live with this fact.

Wish I had of looked into it earlier as I was in Brisbane last week.

And if I get to much drama I coan drive th 6hrs down there to sort it out.

She's off on a little trip on Monday then.

Thanks again

MATT

Matt,

Andersons are the authorised Nikon service centre for Brisbane/SE Qld. I've had a few minor dealings with them and they seem on the level.

As I only live in the next suburb, I know who I'd rather deal with if it comes to a choice of them or sending my baby interstate for repairs.

Up to you of course but if Andersons can't do the work they're only going to send it off to Maxwells anyway.
