Here's one to contemplate...

How's about a country type evening/night shoot to get the constellations etc. Or a meet at the Sydney Observatory? Would be interesting to see the results that's for sure. Opinions? I know that at the Sydney Observatory most viewing is done through their telescopes etc and being so close to the city/lights we may not get a lot etc.. Just putting the idea out there...??

Killa has an astrophotography setup doest he??

I have a mate that does some work out at Coonabarabran with the Anglo Australian telescope but He is going OS soon (to a big telescope in Chille)

Yep, he does. But my work committments are going to preclude any such involvement from me at least until August. After that, i'll be 'living' in Nowra, then i can join in so maybe late winter would be a good time to organise it. The skies will be clearer then anyway. I'll be more than happy to share some scope-time with my fellow brave DSLR users buddies.
