MOONRISE SUNSET

Looks like we get a near full moonrise and a sunset at 530 this arvo in brisbane

Oooh oooh oooh... bloody hell why do I always not scope out a spot for this kinda stuff ahead of time... I've no idea where to get a clear view to shoot... *cries*

What does this mean?? The sun is still setting when we have a fullmoon????

i think the full moon was last night but tonight the moon comes up as the sun goes down

At least. It does depend on where each is on the ecliptic. They can be more than 180 apart or less.
Of course you could always use a mirror :)

Here I'd also need a dirty great blowtorch to burn the clouds away :(

Had the same problem here Big Red but I ended up with a half decent pic before the moon appeared.
