Hi there!!!

Only a week and a bit to go in 2009!

Was wondering if anyone is interrested in another Street Photography minimeet, before the year is over.

(Sat/Sun 26/27th December) maybe at Darling Harbour/Circular Quay.

(Hope you don't mind that I have used some of your images Gerry, Gary, Suren and Matt)

If using the area around the Quay, I would exercise a little caution, as there are regulations surrounding commercial shooting that are in force.

While those rules bear no relevance whatsoever for what you're proposing, the underlying problem is that those who enforce the rules might not be aware of what the rules actually are, or that this is not a commercial endeavour.

You are right Gary, it could be a problem. The last one in Newtown was great maybe someone here knows a good spot for this sort of activity.

Would love to see how it goes with a different audience.

How many did we have in Newtown about 80 or so in a few hours?

Anyway I am open for about anything :)

How's about somewhere in Manly (perhaps along the Manly Corso somewhere?).
My thoughts are if that we do end up being asked to pack up and move on, we can..
Maybe go to the nearest pub and have an ale or three? :)

I think that would be a perfect area. Lots of passing foot traffic, plenty of pubs, B&J's on the corner.

Need an area with a suitable background.

I will try to suss out some backdrops tomorrow.
If we get asked to move on I think it would be
somewhat amusing to ask the person who asks us to move on for a photo! ROFL! :)

Craig, if you use some flash, you can make it red, bright red, dark red, or black... ;Lots of options.

White or black background may not provide you such a choice.

I can't wait for the results of this.... wishing I could attend.

Yeah, maybe try Calibri (Vista font, which you can download for XP) which is my favourite at the moment.

This font has a space invaders type of feel however...

Sorry guys it didn't happend, the weather wasn't up for it on the weekend and I had to much to do as well, but would love to get it in as soon as possible might have to ask Geoff if he is still up for it.

Manly would be fantastic as location.

I am going to be back in Sydney on Thursday so how about this coming weekend?

Maybe we can get a List of who wants to join in!?!
