On that day, you will have the opportunity to work with 3 experienced models in a variety of settings. All models will have hair and makeup done by a professional make-up artist.
Another photographer and I will provide informal tuition on:
- strobist lighting techniques
- makeup
- booking, interacting with and posing a model
- model shoot terminology
During the day, you will also get the opportunity to take images with your own camera of some staged themes featuring all 3 models.
You will also get the opportunity to work in smaller groups with each of the models, taking images that can be used in your personal portfolio. Another photographer and I will circulate the groups giving individual advice / guidance where necessary.
Photographic style will be Fashion.
This is aimed at photographers that have not worked with models before, or have only limited experience of such work. More experienced photographers can come along too, but are not allowed to heckle
You will come away from this day with a better appreciation of how to work with models, and some spectacular images for your portfolio.
Cost for the day will be $150 per photographer... All profits will be passed onto models and MUA. I'm just doing this for fun
