Clovelly beach sunrise shoot 2 May EOI

Postby surenj on Thu Apr 29, 2010 6:48 pm

Will be lingering in Sydney this weekend and wanted to see whether anyone has an inkling for a sunrise shoot.....

First light is at 06:04 and sunrise at 06:29.

Perhaps get there by 05:30?

I can't hang around for brekky but I am sure depending on the attendance that this will be organised at a nearby cafe.

Does anyone know whether the direction of the sunrise would be favourable at this time of year...?

I was thinking of some shots with the pool in the foreground. Gerry, have you got better ideas about a better location? I would be keen to catch some wave action. The tide will be coming in at this time.

Good point Suren, did not think about that pool.. nonetheless I would not expect any waves where that pool. Play it by ear I reckon.

I might give the northern side of clovelly a go, it is pretty easy to get onto the rocks there and migth present some nice compositions loooking back onto the surf club..

Perhaps get there by 05:30?

sounds good, text me if anything changes

Sounds good Gerry!!! Your a legend! I'll bring some toys...although I am not sure if I can get any of my flashes back by then (both SB-600 and SB-800 are out on loan)
