I will echo the welcome of the others...

There is a lot of collective wisdom on this forum - enjoy the learning process - but be careful :wink: you will soon be lusting after all sorts of goodies like lenses and tripods and things that you have not even heard of yet.... :lol: :lol:

My current item of lust is a new tripod & head. While my original old relatively el-cheapo lightweight tripod has served me well, i'm constantly battling with its limitations & creep.

My main problem lies in the multitude of tripods & heads available & the massive variation in prices & performance. So I'd really appreciate some reccommendations from users of the gear.

After seeing the benro tripods & heads in some of the forums here, i'm keenly interested!

And to top it off, I'm travelling to Hong Kong & Singapore next month. Oh the bank balance will be hurting after that! :P
