Hi all, my name's Paul and I'm a newbie here, although I have known of the site for a while.
I'm located in the southern Adelaide suburb of Morphett Vale and am now a proud owner of a Canon 350D (or my credit card is atm ).
I've already noticed a few familiar names around the forum from other sites so I almost feel at home already!
Hope to learn heaps here and grow in my photography skills ... and maybe show a pic or two

Yes, do watch out for Rob in Whyalla..something to do with all the iron ore dust and having to drive past the lead contamination of Port Pirie all the time..

 for the kind welcome all!
Rob: Geocaching is a game that I play in my spare time. It's sort of a world wide treasure hunt using the internet and a GPS unit to track down treasure (caches). People hide caches (usually a plastic box containing, at a minimum, a logbook to record your visit & maybe some trinkets for the kids (big kids? ) to swap - you take something, you leave something).
It sounds easy but it can be harder then it looks ... but you can visit some fantastic places.
 Hi Virgs!

It's not only great to have another "local" on board, but one who has similar interests as well, makes it even better!
