Mate you might have to get rid of the D50 just so you can fit the D80 into your sig

Congrats on the new purchase And trying not to hijack a thread but are we going to have a Clipsal meet this year? My holidays are already booked!

Sounds good having two bodies, one for the wide and one for the telephoto.
That's what I kept my 300D for after getting my 30D, but I'm a little tempted in having it converted to infra-red

Warren - I would hold onto your D50. Should the D80 every need to go in for repair, at least you have another body to use in the meantime.

But seriously, it's handy to have a backup, however you'll have to convince the boss it's a good idea to keep the D50 as well - could be tricky!

Cheers

Yes there will definately be a Clipsal meet..Most of us will go on the Saturday, some will also go on the other days but the Saturday is normally the best day for photos as you get access to more of the cars..
Warren, congrats on the new purchase, looking forward to the next meet.

And if you ever plan on doing any commercial jobs having a back up body is a great insurance policy...

Congratulations. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Definitely keep it. I'm forever wishing I had a second body for using two lenses at once. :)
