Good 2nd hand shops in Adelaide

Postby drsnoopy2 on Mon Oct 01, 2007 10:25 pm

I was wondering if there are any shops in Adelaide that have a good range of 2nd-hand Canon lenses, at reasonable prices ?

Thanks

I bought some stuff from the Camera shop in the markets, a couple of years back, and they seemed to have a good range of stuff then (not sure about Canon gear)
James Place Cameras had a reasonable range of second hand gear too, but they seemed to either moved or shut down last time I went to call in about 6 months ago.

the 'Camera House' in the market has a fantastic range of second hand stuff, mostly canon + nikon (as you'd expect). the 'Camera House' on grenfell st also has a little bit of stuff (nowhere near as much).

James Place Cameras moved to Elizabeth about 6 months ago and then shut down 3 months later, a lot of their gear went through the auction systems at mgs (unfortunately i never got to go to check it out as it always occurs during work hours).

Thanks for the suggestions. I have been to Camera House in the markets, and there are definitely a few lenses to check out, obviously the stock varies at times. I suppose will have to rely more on this forum and other auctions sites. Let me know if someone has a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 that they are keen to offload !
