Hi all ...yes know it seems early but 11 days before the Pagent and only 58 sleeps before the fat man slips down the Chimney (hopefully carrying something long and white) thought it a good time to do a quick poll re a Christmas get together / function / photo meet ?? Any hints or preferencs (suitable for publication) .. I'm suggesting one of the following to get the ball rolling with very guestimate dates Option 1 - Dinner somewhere in town one night (12th or 13th Dec), then photoshoot of Christmas lights Option 2 - Photo meet with a byo cheese & greens picnic (perhaps zoo or botanic gardens) (13th 14th Dec) Have to start somewhere so register your interest/attendance/ideas Deb T

Deb T - I would prefer option 2, because it involves my second home. I am good for either the 13 or 14th December, as 'RDO' on the 15th December, 2008 Just that I find Xmas functions at Cafe's, you get squeezed in, poor service, warm not hot food, and they charge like wounded Bull's. fozzie

I would be possibly interested in a meet on the 13th or 14 depending on what we are up to. We are moving to Canada on the 30th so might be flat out, might be organised but I doubt it!

Hi all.
I'm new here and a proud owner of a D80 with 18-55 VR and 55-200VR.
I'd like to meet up, but I think I have other things on the 13th / 14th!
Currently saving up for a 70-300 APO MACRO lens or a f2.8 zoom lens before going to KI for NYE.... anyone know anyone selling one cheap?
Thanks
Andrew
