Re: Panda meetI'm not sure if this meet is still on. Given the new date.
Since I've booked, I'll still be going to the 9:15 panda session. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm

Re: Panda meetsorry for the confusion - I wont be there on the 2nd - Ive taken enough bad photos through the glass to last a lifetime and have now arranged to meet interstate friends

Re: Panda meetSpoke with the Zoo today, and they have cleared them to leave quarantine, however they aren't releasing them just yet due to the temperature. So basically once it cools down outside... hmmm May?
On a side note.. the Zoo is open til 7pm right through to end of January! (except tonight... hmm wonder why )
Re: Panda meetI went in for my second visit today. It was much better, mostly because there were only about 60 people there (and most left half way) so it was easy to get up close to the glass.
More shots uploaded to smugmug. It sounds like they think the panda will be outside the week of the 11th. They plan to have a couple of test runs before that (probably with no public there). So it sounds promising for the meet. Daniel Nikon D4, D2Xs, D70, Nikkors and Sigmas lenses from 10 to 400mm
