GorelesqueI was lucky enough to shoot this burlesque show last week, a bit of practice for the upcoming Fringe season. As usual, it was only slightly less dark than the inside of a cave...

Re: GorelesqueWow Brilliant stuff!! How do you find the focussing in this environment? Do you use an IR focus assist on a flash?
Re: GorelesqueThanks guys!
The only focus problems I had was when Vesper came out after the show to talk to me wearing a g-string, tank top and heels, and I lost the power of speech... I got to shoot 2 nights, so I had a chance to learn from the first nights mistakes. No focus assist, I usually just stick to the X focus sensors in continuous servo mode.
Re: GorelesqueThese have turned out well but yesterdays shoot was a lot more fun I bet... certainly was for me!!!

Re: GorelesqueKevin,
This is great stuff. And being able to return to the scene of the crime on the following night, and to be able to learn from the prior night's work ... what a great opportunity. And what lovely outcomes. g.

Re: GorelesqueThanks Gary, the second night is a huge bonus, even if you shoot this kind of thing all the time.
