A story of rising from the masses, an epic on being accepted, a story that will bring tears to the eyes of the toughest truck driver. An orphan lens, named Sigma, that was left on a doorstep in Bondi but was cruelly rejected by Mr Nikonolos and left to wander down to the harbour - where it was picked up by a philanthropic D70 - but that is another story

Welcome

Postby rjlhughes on Thu Jun 23, 2005 11:59 am

As another Canon user (who is also the proud owner of a new Sigma 20/1.8 ) I'm glad to have the company.

This is an incredibly informative and useful site, not matter what brand you're using.

For Canon users, I've added a new section - Canon Corral - a playpen especially for discussion of Canon issues.

Enjoy.

Do you have the DVD Gary? I bought it for my better half for her birthday, and we were watching some of it last night. I never realised how much the "and friends" bit of HTFAF dilutes the HTF bit: we were unable to watch more than a few episodes at a time or it got a bit tooo disturbing! Maybe I'm just a pussy though.

Trent,

We have TWO DVDs ... I bought them while in the USofA over Christmas last. It was kind of hard finding them, because the stores aren't quite sure of how they should be classified. Cartoons? Comedy? Horror? Anime?

The Borders in Laguna Hills called their sister store in Anaheim for me, where they found the discs I wanted, along with a couple of others too. They put them on hold for me for three days, but even in OC traffic, it only takes an hour or so to drive from Laguna Hills to Anaheim; three days was overkill, which, given the ubject matter of the DVDs, was probably just as well. :)

Actually, we only have one dvd from Happy Tree Friends.

There are three in total from the US for the NTSC market and there is one for the rest of the world using the PAL market.
