This is a great photo for some inhancement that I had been itching to do... I hope you don't mind me shopping it a bit... I never had this kind of lighting to do this before! Let me know if you want me to take it down....

I know this post does not belong here but can't find a new post option to allow me to ask this question in a new post. Sorry for that but here goes.

1st:- How do I post a new question to avoid this happening again. I went to FAQ page and "Unable to connect to web page message appears on my screen.

2nd. I want to put a picture, icon as my avatar instead of a box with a X in it as it current shows.

3rd. I had a entry for this months competition - Painting With Light - but as a "newbie" apparently I was unable to enter so what is required to loose the newbie tag? ie X amounts of posts, 6 month probation period .... ????? Been a member since early Feb 2008 and although not activley involved in posts as ive only recently purchased my 1st dslr I have been studying responses, questions and feedback from other users. Just felt what little experience I have is not worth an opinion.

If a moderator or someone in the know could respond it would be appreciated
