How crowded are VIC locations during school holidays?

Okay, I stuffed up.

I live in Tas, and arranged a coupla weeks leave to go wandering around the mainland. I *thought* I'd checked school term times, but it turns out Victoria moved their holidays to match the Commonwealth Games, and I've managed a total overlap (dammit).

So my question is - Will these locations:
    Port Campbell National Park (ie ~12 Apostles)
    The high country (Mansfield, Bright, Omeo etc)
    Wilson's Promontory

- be knee-deep in painful little grots during holidays?

If so I can always stay in-state (damn, Tasmania in near-autumn, new camera, that'll be hard to take...)

D'you think if I ask nicely they'll move the Commonwealth Games?

cheers + TIA

K

I was down at Port Campbell National Park on the 29th Dec (during the school holidays of course) and there was hardly a person in sight at dusk.
Luck of the draw i guess. :)

The High Country is always crowded during the holiday periods. That is unless you have a 4wd and can find your own secret location. Even that's starting to get harder now-a-days.

Thanks guys <puts thinking cap on>.

4WD = yes, offroad capable = no.

Hardly anyone in sight at dusk in PCNP?
That must count as unusually few people...
