Hiya all,
I have just moved to Melbourne from the uk (sunny south wales) and have been here for 6 months now.

when i moved out here i bought a Nikon D40 55mm kit (because it was cheap with the cash back deal)

Since being out here I have since bought a 55-200 lense off ebay (import)

I am SLOWLY finding my feet with my camera, I am loving Oz and enjoying taking photos.
I will post some of my efforts up over the next few days

Laterz

Welcome aboard Velly.

You should find the weather in Melbourne similar to South Wales...

Do you have a particular area of photography you enjoy? Theres a wealth of experience here, so you should be able to pick up a thing or two.

Now, hurry up and post some pics!
