I just wanted to say that you have come to the right place to get any questions answered and to learn tips and tricks to help you equip yourself with the skills to take good photos, whatever your aims are. We are a very happy to help so feel free to ask questions. Not many people buy more than one SLR initially, you have purchased two, congratulations! Can I ask which lenses did you buy? Cheers Cameron

Re: New Comer
Thanks for fixing that admin issue quickly (better do it now than have a moderator ask) You have spent some serious money!! Good choices on the 70-200mm 2.8L IS, 50mm 1.8 and 28-75mm 2.8! The 18-55 IS will be useful for the 450D, but not my first choice of lens. Now that we all know that you have the good gear we are expecting good results. I'd almost say that you may have bitten off a little too much. If you want to fast track composition and lighting can I recommend you weld that 50mm f/1.8 to one of your cameras for a few weeks and use that EXCLUSIVELY, best if shooting black and white, without flash. This will force you to move to compose and play with differing lighting conditions to create interesting shots. Play with shadows, patterns, and depth of field. Just a thought, I did that with when I first got my D300 (due to a lack of lenses after selling almost my complete kit to finance my D300) and I found the experience very rewarding. I'll post some photos and link them later Cameron

Re: New Comer
Excellent advice. Too often, we have it too easy, with cameras being acquired that contain the all-singing, all-dancing 10-1000mm do-it-all-for-you zoom lens. g.

Thanks Gary, I was hoping I was not the only person with this opinion. Cameron
