The Amazing Human Body Exhibition, SydneyFor anyone with an interest in human pathology and 'how the body works', may I strongly recommend the Amazing Human Body exhibition at Fox Studios, Moore Park. The display has actual real bodies that have been 'plastinated' and disected. Adult tickets are $23 and in my opinion well worth it. Bel and I just got back from it, to go though and have a good look takes about 1.5hrs. The exhibition finishes on June 11.
For more info http://www.amazinghumanbody.com.au tickets available through http://www.ticketek.com.au Unfortunately but understandably no photography is permitted. Geoff

I've watched Dr Gunter Von Hagens autopsy programmes on TV and i am impressed by the techniques he uses to plastinate the body. Definitely confronting to some and upsetting to others.
Pity i will miss this exhibition. Shame i didn't know about it earlier. Steve.

I went to see that exhibition and saw the human exhibits. Unfortunately one of the exhibits I recognised as an old friend and this caused me a great deal of distress....ME "master! Master! What have they done to you? It is I...little grasshopper!" As expected, this did not go down well with management and I was unceremoniously evicted...thrown out....manhandled.......Folk just don't have a sense of humour anymore. Regards

I've been a bit squeamish about this sort of thing after playing poker with a couple of lepers...one threw his hand in and then the other laughed his head off..
Pity I didn't know about this earlier, I'd have given my right arm to see it....
