Once again here is another Photo Tour and this time it's Thailand. Below are the details.
Thailand Food and Foto Tour 16-28 Jan 2008.
Sydney photography tutors Mick Connolly and Adam Oswell will lead a 13 day culinary and photographic workshop to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai from $4,800.00 per Person, ex Sydney twin share (a $600.00 deposit is required to secure a place).
Tour highlights include air conditioned bus travel with English speaking guides, cruising the Chao Praya river, visits to the Grand Palace and Temple of the Rising Dawn, traditional Tattooing, Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), shooting urban Bangkok fashion, culinary lessons and food photography at the Bai Pai cooking school, two days in Ayutthaya exploring the twelfth century temple ruins, directing a model in traditional dress riding an elephant, Chiang Mai's famous night market, a northern style cooking class with chef Pi Nong at her family's graden resort, visit the Conservation centre at Lampang to see the elephants paint and perform music, go on a night safari, undertake a Chiang Rai style cooking workshop, shoot hill tribe portraits, capture silversmiths at work, scroll through the Royal Botanic garden, join Khun Adam as he hunts his photographic quarry in the depths of the Golden Triangle and much more.
