Maximeet Lightroom Session Details
Posted: Thu Feb 14, 2008 11:07 pmFor those of you going to my Lightroom session at the Maximeet this coming Saturday (note this is being run alongside the Photoshop session so you can't do both) below is a rough outline of what I plan to cover.
A reminder that the Lightroom session starts at 2pm AFTER the Walk to Georges River National Park. For those going on the walk we'll use some of the shots from there for the session.
- Creating a new catalog
- Using lightroom defaults and presets to simplify your workflow
- Adding IPTC data and initial processing during photo import
- image culling & the library module
- shortcuts
- image keywording
- Using the develop module
- presets to speed things up
- bulk changes to images (image syncing)
- exporting made easy
- automated 1 click sharpening, resizing, framing and captioning
- automated 1 click export to flickr and smugmug
- when to use photoshop
NOT covered are the print and web modules - that's for next time
