Glass Eye
The world through the lenses of 13 young Sydney-based photographers.
Photo Exhibition,
22 April – 3 May
Chrissie Cotter Gallery
Pidcock St, Camperdown, Sydney
Let us show you the world as we see it, through our glass eyes. Glass Eye features the diverse expressions of 13 young Sydney-based photographers. The group were originally brought together by a common love of urban exploration in Sydney's industrial backyard; capturing the less-than-glossy side of Sydney's urban decay and forgotten spaces. In 2008, the group exhibited Rust and Skin; a photographic exploration into the textures of life and decay.
Now they come together, a year on, with new works to share; a broad spectrum including cityscapes, the urban underground; as well as portraiture, photo-journalism and photo-art. The contemporary collection visually reflects the experience of living in Sydney, and current issues from across the globe.
Entry is free and all are welcome.
Opening Launch: 22 April 7pm on.
Exhibition on view:
Wed 22 April, 7pm on.
Thu 23 April, 6pm - 9pm,
Fri 24 April - Sun 26 April, 11am - 4pm,
