In both cases the original image was the largest. However we do not all have large screens (I run mine at 1600x1200) so not being able to see the whole image detracts from the experience, which is my supposition on why Large in both cases is the winner.
Conclusion: Based on most votes being for images being at a different size from the original you shouldn't really care and go and take some photos.
