I'm considering getting one of these babies for my wife.

She has zero interest in owning a DSLR.

Has anyone owned or worked with this model and do you have any comment positive or negative.

We're looking basically for something that will fit in the handbag takes a half decent shot and doesn't weigh a ton or require huge experience (or interest) to operate....

It's got a massive screen for chimping. I've never seen one though but that price from Digital-Rev is about half Aust prices.
