Re: RRS® Hi-Capacity Monopod Head - MH-01Now that is nice fozzie and with the Aus dollar where it is, not expensive.

Re: RRS® Hi-Capacity Monopod Head - MH-01ozboyerp - I would say between 25-30 members who contribute to the forum on a regular basis, have purchased from RRS. Very light weight, extremely well made, and of course you pay a preminum. The best part at the moment is the Exchange Rate: USD to AUD is very favourable for us

Re: RRS® Hi-Capacity Monopod Head - MH-01
YOu would probably do better with a ball head for that use. This head is designed for monopods. All you need is a tilt adjust on these as you swivel the entire stick for rotation. Also, when pricing, remember that you need the head, clamp AND plate. I have a BH-40 with LR Clamp mounted on a Gitzo 2540EX; and L Plate on the camera. Incredibly versatile. I love it. But oh the wallet nerves! Greg

Re: RRS® Hi-Capacity Monopod Head - MH-01I was but 1(No) click away from finalising this order.
- Gitzo GM5541 monopod (imported from Nikonians USA) - MH-01 RRS® Hi-Capacity Monopod Head (imported from RRS USA) But with the credit card already maxed out, and the cricket season still at least 3 months away I held off. Do I really need a tilt head capability at 420mm (DX) I asked myself ? (maybe) Was there anything intrinsicly wrong with the Manfrotto 682B that I already owned. (not really) So I did't. D300, D200, (D70 - now with daughter) and heaps of Nikon stuff.

Surely that's two clicks: 1 for each order & that assumes you use keytrokes to change web pages Greg

Re: RRS® Hi-Capacity Monopod Head - MH-01
Have just placed my order for the MH-01, the Manfrotto 3232 unit was just not capable with my D300 & 200-400VR. The MH-01 will be just what's required for this heavy combo. Can't do much about the lousy exc. rate however. Cheers Marc D4|D3S|D700+MB-D10| 14-24 |24-70|70-200 f/2.8 VRII|70-200 f/4 VR|80-400 AF-S|500VR|Sigma 150 f/2.8 macro|TC's 1.4,1.7E & 2.0III|SB 900
