I've had the Lowepro Nova 2 AW for about a month now
I fit the following (just) in the camera bag:
*D70
*SB-80DX + diffuser
*70-300G + hood
*Kit lens (18-70DX) + hood
*50mm f/1.8
*Battery case for CR2's
*Blower
*cf card reader (small one)
*67mm circ pol + UV (both cases but one empty)
and a couple of other odds and ends
Its quite robustly made... nice rubberised handle, wide shouler strap and it has belt loops
And of course it has the AW rating so it has this ripstop nylon foldout cover for bad weather...
Very happy with it so far... so happy I have forgotten the price but I remember it being about $70-90 (could be wrong)

It was your lovely empty bottle of Coopers Sparkling Ale that caught my attention. Great picture
Now, what were you saying about the Nova AW bag?
Oh yes - nice bag. hehe
Cheers

bago100,
he forgot to tell you that he had a pack of six Cooper in that Nova 2AW as well, cos the bag will keep the beer cold.

Glad you picked up on the reference so quickly!

Bago,
I think Leight and PeterC has the Nova 3AW, littlebit roomy.
For the long term the Micro Trekker 200 will serve you well:
- D70 with kit lens, SB800, Zoom lens (70-300 or 70-200VR), cleaning stuff, couple ham sandwiches with a popper etc... and that will survive you a day trek

I guess it depends what you do with the bag also, as well as what it will hold. I have this bag also, but I like to walk around a lot with my gear, and I have come to hate this bag - its not the bag itself, and it has a great capacity, but rather the whole over the shoulder, clumsy thing. Which is why I'm keen to get one of Bird-dogs backpacks. But then others will much prefer this style of bag over a backpack. Just depends on the person I guess.

The Nova 2 AW is a walkaround bag with limited lens and gears, but once you lust lens or other gear then it will stay in the garage most of the time.
I have 6 bags and three vests in total.

my next project is to get a bit of PVC pipe and fit a lens in it and put it in a soft lens case...
That way when I am hiking with a lens on the outside of my pack it will not be destroyed when I fall over!

This is me with my (at the time very empty as it was only a day hike) Macpac...
the nova fits nicely on the side of the belt...
But when I get a bigger lens I will need to put it in some sort of hardcase on the outside

Hey Birdy, the three vests, one is for casual wear, one is for formal wear but what is the third one for?

one in black and one in tan,
I used to wear the tan colour in summer time and black in winter, sometime at some events black is not welcome, cos EO(Event Organizer) don't want to mixed with other as security or police, if you wear black they provide you a cloth you have to wear it on your back.

and one of this with few small bags for walking into the bush or hiking
