Lowepro Rover II AW or Rover Plus AW

Postby baboo on Sun Jul 10, 2005 5:16 pm

Hi all,
I'm currently looking for a camera bag which I'll be able to use on hikes and so-forth.

Looking on their website, I reckon a Lowepro Rover bag will suit my needs. However, I am not sure what the differences are between the II AW model and the Plus AW model.

Is the extra money for the Plus model justified (I know its larger). In particular I'm really interested in any differences in the harness, as I'm planning to use it for day walks and overseas travel.

I would normally go to a camera store to try them out but but didn't have any luck finding a store which has them in stock today. May try the Camera Exchange tomorrow.

Just wondering if there are any members who happen to use either of the bags and can provide some insight.

Cheers,
Ray

i own the aw plus,
the harness is great and is similar bulid to the harness system which lowepro make for the belt-harness combo. i think other person i meet who had the rover aw said that it didn't come with a rubber grip on top, and tripod holder.

i can easliy fit a 300 prime + teleconvertor and a d100 body attached on top for quick setup.
Life's pretty straight without drifting
