Yes, Kevin I have it and it is great.
The one shortcoming is that it only prints up to A4.
If I were buying now, I'd probably be looking at the R1800 which will print A3.

AU$545 at AIM Digital

They have a shopfront down the road from my house, I use them for paper/ink all the time, and I have friends who've bought printers from there.

After seeing birddogs R1800, I purchased a R800 since it was more to my budget. Yes its a case of printer lust.

What can I say, its excellent! The thing that runs out the fastest in the epson is the gloss optimizer. Almost 60% through my one but used less than 10% of the ink. Luckly its the cheapest to replace at $9, compared to the $18 for the colours.

mitedo,
The 2400 does the job well also. The 4800 is great but it's a big machine which you may not need.

Trust me! the 4800 is over range! and you don't need it! the 2400 is more suitable.

I'm not sure how this is possible, but these guys are claming the R800 is $291 for them.

Get someone to price match!!!

But their price for the R1800 is about right so I think the R800 is a mis-print.
