Shutterbug are we going to get more of why you love the D200 :wink: I'd love to see more from yoou and your D200. Did you encounter any of this striping/banding issue?

Well the battery issue doesn't seem too bad - especially when running a screen that is 'brighter' than the D2x one, with a smaller battery!

It sounds like a fuss camera that requires expensive lens. I guess what the boss of nikon europe says about how 10 MP was chosen because you are reaching the limits of consumer lens was true after all. :lol:

As Bjorn is located in Norway, I can well imagine that his batteries might underperform due to the cold temperatures... Even in Wales with temps between 0 & 10 degrees, I noticed a significant decrease in the battery performance... I only took 1500 images while away and had to recharge the battery 3 times in a month...

I would expect the batteries to perform better here in Oz...
