Took a few pictures today and I notice a fair bit of distorsion. This picture has been taken at 22mm, f/11, the camera was pointing up. Normal? It does not really worry me, but I am a bit surprised.
Cheers,
Gerard

Hi
I haven't tried mine at 22mm , but at 17mm I have some distortion, I think it is normal to have some distortion at the wide end.
Regards

Are you referring to the perspective distortion ? This is not lens distortion. You will get perspective distortion on buildings etc on any lens when you point it at an angle. The only way to have parallel lines on buildings stay parallel is to point your lens level or use a tilt/shift lens.

gooseberry,
Thanks for clarifying this, actually the lens does not have distortion at wide, it's perspective distortion.

I am referring to the buildings and trees at the bottom of the picture on either side of the light house. Looking at the light house I could not see anyting wrong.
