Hi, can anyone advise on the differences b/w the Benro KB-1, KJ-1, and KS-1 heads? Other than the finish and knobs, about which I am aware.

Also, I read in some eBay descriptions that there is a newer "third generation" KS head (as in there is an older KS head and a newer KS head design). Any info on this?

Kocho it is very difficult to get info between the models, have you tried the Benro website? Benro has only been available to us for a short while here, so most of us would not be aware of the history of their products

I did not see information on different generation within the line-up (e.g. older vs. newer KS head). The rest is not very detailed either... I got some e-mails pointing to the fact that there is a newer KS-1 that is smoother and easier to secure tightly than the older ones due to improved "internal bearing". Don't know how true this is or if the seller just tries to push his products and discount other's but I've heard it from three places, all unreliable

I'll have mine in my hands shortly (seller assures me it's the latest but gives no confirmation or denial of any generational differences) and will see how it feels.
