I have been looking into them as well. Try http://www.photo-i.co.uk/ for some reviews. I don't know who is cheapest in oz, but I am looking.

Hi Skyva

I own and use the Epson 3800. - Exceptional print results up to 17inches by 33inches on most surfaces including canvas.

http://www.lapfoto.com.au/ had them well priced recently.

There is also a great site with more info at
http://people.csail.mit.edu/ericchan/dp ... index.html

Let me know if you wanted to know anything more specific

Cheers
Greg

Over the phone they quoted a cash price of $1850. Will take 2 days to get in as they have sold 3 in the last 2 days!

This printer would have been a masterpiece except fot the fact that it does not allow the use of roll paper. So no great panarama prints folks. What a pity!

Thanks Greg, I am mighty tempted. There are some good prices around for the R1800, and I just don't know how much printing I will do, so I am a bit undecided at present. I should just bight the bullet and go 3800.
