Some information for you:
The Nikkor 12-24mm is a good wide angle lens (note the spelling) .
A lot of people swear by the Sigma 10-20mm at less than half the price of the Nikkor.
Tamron make a very well regarded 90mm macro lens.
And, the plural of "lens" is "lenses" (no need for an apostrophe!).

Yeah get the point on Lenses
...
What is the Nikon 105mm VR Micro like? I think I can get it for just over $1000.00!
Also is the MPE-65 available in Nikon Mount? And where would I get one from?
Cheers

If you can afford the Nikkor lenses, they are great but you pay for it.
I would suggest you look also at the Tokina 12-24, it is a great wide angle lens and the price is half the Nikkor. A lot of the reviews I have found rate the Tokina as good as the Nikkor. I have the Tokina and find that it is a great lens.
Last I had heard the Tokina was hard to get but check with Gary in the bargains.
I have the 90mm Tamron macro as well. For the price it is hard to beat.
Cheers,
André

Tokina 12-24/4 is just a little bit worser than Nikkor 12-24/4 but if we compare the price... twice higher... but Nikkor can handle flare better than Tokina. I own Tokina and I'm happy with that. However if I had a lot of spare money...
For macro I can suggest Sigma 105/2.8 EX DG Macro. This lens has just outstanding quality. The quality of this lens can compete with Nikkor 105/2.8 easily. I really love this lens. It has probably the best price/value ratio in all current macro lenses.

I can highly recommend the Sigma 150 f/2.8 macro, very sharp and great value!

Hi iluxa
Money wasn't the issue for me with the Tokina 12-24 over the Nikon (apart from the flare/build qual), I found the Tokina sharper than the Nikon IMHO
my 2c

Looks like I've made the right choice.

Do you have any examples of images with this lense?

I cannot fault my Toikna 12-24mm, its honestly as sharp as a tack (100% sharper than the sigma version i did have) and suprises me everytime.....i quite often mistake some shots (sharpness) for the 17-35mm Nikon before investigating further and seeing that the shot was the tokina...

Do you need original size images? As I have a lot of resized ones on my website. For example:
one,
two and
three. All three were done with Tokina 12-24/4 on Nikon D70.

Right price. I've bought mine for roughly the same price.

I just quickly checked out your photos and it looks like I will go for the Tokina! Definately looks like a decent lense from your examples!
