Auto WB on D2X

Much improved from D2H/D70.

This out of camera JPEG was taken under mixed lighting with AWB. The reds were coming off halogen (incand), the predominant room lighting was fluorescent (slight green/blue). Does a heck of a job balancing the colours IMO.

yeah tried using the d70 using awb in studio conditions to shoot under tungsecent lights diffused the d70 couldn't get it right until i manually set it to tungscent.

What does tungscent smell like ? :)

Seriously, the best way to handle wb with studio tungsten would be to preset it, either using an Expodisk, or a Pringles lid.

It's no bloody good Scott. It has one power setting - too strong. :D

I couldn't figure out how to control it aside from varying distance to subject (was shooting at f/32 on the Micro 60 and it's still too much light)!
