I'm tired and I want to sleep so I wont go into much detail, but there is an option on the d70 to switch gridlines on ( or something similar ). I would highly recommend you try that as one of the most obvious problems when you're doing any sort of landscape/scenery shot is a tilted horizon.
Having the grid on lets you line everything up correctly before you shoot which means less time in Photoshop saying 'free rotate .90 degrees.. too little . rotate .95 degrees... too much..' I'm sure someone else will give a much clearer analysis of your shots.. probably wednesday morning though... PlatinumWeaver / Dean

Thommo - had a look at your nightshots and overall I am impressed. Maybe a little straightening in PS on verticals and horizontals.
I like - will be out and about tonight to emulate. Cheers Chris Chris

Yep, the grid lines are champ. I spend about 5 extra seconds getting it lined up, but that's better than being in front of the computer, then you have to crop etc.
They are very good.
I especially like the one between the bridges with the new parliament house in the distance. Lucky no one saw you taking photos of all those public places and called the terror hotline. Steve.
