The Lighthouse picture was actually taken a while ago. More to come, I got some great Glacier Ranges.
Please give me any tips or recommendations or critiques. I could use the PP tips especially.

I know a fellow who built a lodge in the middle of the mountains where I took this photo. IT's about a 3 minute drive on a dirt road, and is no more than 15-20 mins from any of the pictures that I have taken. It's called the Tantalus View Retreat, and if anyone wants to stay there for a nature foray in the westcoast, it promises to be a unique experience unlike any other. I believe his website is http://www.tantalusviewretreat.com or something like that. It's quite cheap and houses four comfortably.

and the lighthouse is fantastic. But is that thing crooked. It looks like your horizon is level but that lighthouse looks to be leaning to the right (or is it my eyes)

I think I slapped on a CPL for the shot of the Tantalus range.
Ajo, yes it does look crooked. I took it into photoshop because, as you said the horizon looked crooked so I leveled it out about 2 degrees. Now the Lighthouse looks crooked. Weird. Unless it is the leaning tower of Lighthouse Park.
The trees on the left are parallel to the lighthouse.

Sweet, thanks a lot Chris. I'm at work now so I don't really know what that means, but I'll get into photoshop tonight and try and figure it out. I'll let you know how it goes.
Hi Dooda. Terrific pics. Love the lighthouse - great capture! Only comment is that I'd crop out the trees on the left, as it distracted me and I felt was unecessary. Others might say keep them as they add perspective by giving some dimension to the foreground...so its an individual thing.

Got it, thankyou. Vic, I sort of agree, but I don't really know about cropping them. Ideally I take the photo over again and compose slightly different, isolating it from the trees perhaps. One of the biggest challenges here is fighting things like trees that get in the way. One day I'm going to go out with a chainsaw and take care of it so my photos look better.
No need, there's a chainsaw function in Photoshop called 'Clone Tool'. Plant more trees. They make better looking landscapes. Steve.

That's a tough call, real Chainsaw or software chainsaw? I'll think on that for a while and get back to you.
It's true that the trees make for good landscapes, so I wouldn't cut them ALL down, just the ones that are in the way. It's a sacrifice in the name of art. I'm sure the tree understands.
